-Team Planetary Motto

Team Planetary is an organization from the Tenno Region. They comprise of some the most influential and talented individuals in the region. They are in charge of region’s advanced space program and most space-related industries. It’s because of Team Planetary that the region’s technology is so advanced. Team Planetary periodically reveals new technology, both space-based and non-space-based, to the public, allowing for giant leaps in technology. Tenno owes almost all that makes it famous to Team Planetary.

However, that is all merely on the surface. Few know their true colors. In reality Team Planetary is a criminal organization. They use their influence over the region’s technology to assert control and power over the people. They often times abuse this power. They will lie, cheat, and steal to achieve their goals. Their ulterior motives seem to be related to uncovering the truth behind the Legend of the Cosmic Architect, and thus are on the hunt for the mysterious Meteoric Shards.

Planetary Grunts
The common worker of Team Planetary. They are used to provide muscle for the “less legitimate” ventures of the team. They lack any sense of individuality and fight in large groups with overwhelming numbers.

Leo (Image Coming Soon)
A Planetary Overseer who works with the Planetary Disaster Relief Fund and Crisis Response Team. He is completely in the dark about Team Planetary’s hidden agenda, and completely believes he is doing the right thing. And for the most part, he does. He becomes friends with the player over several encounters.

Cosmo
Cosmo
Cosmo was hand-selected by the leader of Team Planetary to be his successor. In order to get his first Pokémon he had to steal it from Professor Pine’s lab. While he goes along with Team Planetary’s true motives, he carries the opinion that what he does is all for the betterment of humanity.

Orion
Orion
Orion is the first of the three Planetary Commanders, high-ranking Planetary officials who oversee all Planetary operations. He has a very strong and assertive personality. He believes that almost any problem can be solved with a fight, and will be the first of the three commanders to rush into a battle. Egotistically, he sees himself as a mentor and role-model to Cosmo. Despite this, Cosmo strongly disapproves of his methods and personality, finding them grating.
Final Team: Galapaglobe, Minior, and Meteormight (Signature Pokémon)

Cygnus
Cygnus
Cygnus is the second commander encountered by the player. Cygnus is the public face of Team Planetary. When in public she is  nice and kind-hearted. However, it is all a facade. She is actually a mean-spirited woman, who despises the player. She finds just about everything to be a nuisance. She also does not approve of Cosmo or his position of power in Team Planetary, believing that he has yet to earn it.
Final Team: Yuifoe, Lunatue, and Eatyai (Signature Pokémon)

Sirius
Sirius
Sirius is the most senior and highest ranking of the Planetary Commanders, second only to the Team Planetary Boss. Sirius is the most stern and unforgiving of the three. Grunts are often scared to work under him due to his unfavorable personality. He is most critical of Cosmo, who he believes isn’t ready for the task of one day leading Team Planetary.
Final Team: Orbeetle, Solem, and Gigastar (Signature Pokémon)

Polaris
Polaris 2
The leader of Team Planetary. Polaris took over Team Planetary after the previous leader, Cosmo’s father, Andromeda, perished in a space shuttle accident. He took Cosmo in and raised him as his own son, while also rearranging Team Planetary to better meet his vision. He is willing to do anything and everything to save Tenno from a coming disaster.
Team: Machogre, Miltaint, Tennoan Metagross, Porygon-Z, Shamoon, and Mega Volcarona (Signature Pokémon)

Team Interplanetary

Team Interplanetary is a secret black-ops sect of Team Planetary. Almost nothing is known about it. They operate independently of Team Planetary, but have sworn to never interfere with it. Even high ranking Team Planetary officials know absolutely nothing about Team Interplanetary. They don’t even know it exists. Team Interplanetary exists in order to handle objectives too dangerous to the public image of Team Planetary, and can still operate in the scenario that Team Planetary falls.

Interplanetary Grunts
These are no run-of-the-mill grunts. Only the greatest and most powerful Team Planetary Grunts are considered to become Team Interplanetary Grunts, and among those considered, only the top percentage, as judged by a series of special tests disguised as performance evaluations, are invited to join Team Interplanetary. If they don’t accept the invitation, then they disappear from the record and are never heard from again. If they do accept, then they disappear from the record and are never heard from again.

Messier
Messier
Messier is the top-secret fourth Commander of Team (Inter)Planetary. As a high ranking member of Team Interplanetary, he has a special affinity for secrets. Some might say that he’s obsessed with them. To him, everything is classified, even his name (Messier is just a code name). All that is known about his history is that he used to be a high ranking Team Planetary official, but all traces and records of his previous life have been erased.

    • If I had to compare Cosmo to anyone, it would be closer to N, as he actually serves as a second rival throughout the game. The true leader’s bio will come later, when he appears in my story.

  1. We know Cosmo is similar to Ash from the story showed in chapter 81 & 82. Could he eventually become a ally to Ash and his friends in the future when he learns what Team Planetary is really up to. N was the same way until he learned what Team Plasma was really up to.
